Area "C"

There's a lot of discussion at the moment about "Area C", the next phase of development at Keizer station. Should the council allow a building up to 120,000 square feet in this area? There is certainly much to debate. The homeowners nearby have valid concerns. But as a councilor, I represent ALL of Keizer.

What do you think? Make your thoughts known. I want to hear from the people. Send me an email.

New Blog!

I've been a member of the Keizer City Council for almost 2 months now. The staff has been extremely helpful in getting me up to speed. A big thanks to Chris Eppley (City Manager), Marc Adams (Chief Of Police), and Christine Dieker (Chamber Of Commerce) for taking time to sit down with me to discuss issues they deal with on a daily basis. Can't forget Tracy Davis and Debbie Lockhart for all the help they've been.

Plenty of other meetings as well. The first week on the job, I attended the League Of Oregon Cities annual conference in Bend. There have also been updates on the new civic center, discussions about modifications to the infill development code, several ribbon cutting events, even the occasional regular council session!
